Another Mother’s Heart Breaking

One Earth one people
One chance Once choice

We are living
We are dying

So many heads
hanging lowly

hearts beating
for families

Guns, bombs,
atoms, dust
fire and death

Inside
decayed
life

All the lying
All the fear
All the failure

So mistaken
not ever knowing
we are all family

Beautiful Words From Her Grave

From the quiet depths of my repose,
I rise, a specter of verse and woe,
To lend my voice to this poetic fray,
In my voice and guise, I’ll have my say.

As Emily.

Upon the stair’s highest brink I’ll stand,
Gazing upon a garden’s urn in hand.
Let sunlight thread through each solitary hair,
In quiet contemplation, I’ll ponder there.

To wish a swift departure, ah, how vain!
Or for her heart to linger, steeped in pain.
Yet such is life’s ephemeral dance,
Each soul must part from its mortal trance.

In search of paths both light and fleet,
Where heart and mind in union meet,
A quest as fragile as a smile’s brief grace,
Or a gentle touch, a warm embrace.

As autumn’s breath whispers its refrain,
In my mind’s eye, I’ll call forth the pain.
My arms laden with blossoms fair,
A vision lost to the autumn air.

Oh, the musings that linger and roam,
In midnight’s silence, in noon’s bright dome.
Emily Dickinson, through endless throes,
In verse, in spirit, I’ll forever compose.

A HUNDRED POEMS – XXXIV

In the stillness of a single moment,
Eternity suspends its breath,
And amidst the ancient whispers,
The world gently fades into the depths.

Of a new day.

Where does this ethereal melody arise?
From the depths of a beating heart,
Alive with the essence of love’s embrace,
Guiding our souls to dance their part.

Like a new morning.

We sway to the strings of destiny’s puppeteer,
Enchanted by the mystic song of love’s allure,
Shall we take flight tonight upon its wings,
Or chase the setting sun’s golden lure

Maybe for a new world.

In the twilight’s embrace, let us entwine,
As passion paints the skies in hues divine,
With every heartbeat, a symphony of “yes”,
To love’s eternal dance, we confess.

So Sorry I Never Knew Love

In whispers soft as morning dew’s caress,
I plead, my dear, for love’s true tenderness.
When sorrow grips my heart in deep distress,
And dawn reveals a world in bleak duress,

What gentle act, what word, might draw your eye?
What fervent plea could win your sweet reply?
Yet when we part, and sorrow makes us sigh,
‘Tis sorrow’s weight that bids the light goodbye.

It pains me so, this ache within my breast,
As we in sorrow’s shadow find no rest.
With heavy heart, we mourn what love’s confessed,
And words, like dreams, slip through our grasp, unguessed.

It grieves me so, beneath the silent moon,
Why must our wounds persist, our love marooned?
Oh, sorrow’s touch, that dims love’s bright lagoon,
Must we, in darkness, find love’s sweet commune?

What act, what plea, might stir your heart to mine?
Oh-oh-oh,
How can I bridge this chasm, love, divine?
When tempests rage and stars refuse to shine,
What steps must I take, my love, to enshrine?

What must I do to earn your love’s embrace?
Oh-oh-oh,
What must I do to see love’s radiant face?
When thunder roars and lightning scars the space,
Guide me, my love, to find our sacred place.

WISDOM OF A HEART

there it once was
dreams with wings
once there was love
with joy then tears
eventually broken hearts

My wisdom whispered:

“life is beautifuL
with joy and pain
the aches of love
and despair”

So dance with the stars
and weep with the rain
for life’s sweet melody
plays both pleasure and pain

let your heart be a canvas
painted with hues of emotion
each stroke a memory
in life’s grand ocean

Embrace the chaos
in life’s swirling sea
for within the turbulence
lies profound beauty

— life.

LOVER’S ODE

Beautiful Heart! Keeping love safe
Crowned by small flowers and sweet berries,
your mouth, a precious oh sphere, kisses.

How thin blades of grass sway with you,
how pink your cheeks become hollow
Your precious spheres are gleaming.

How your chest is like a lyre,
ribs become orchestra upon each beat
of your heavy heart as double sex sleeps.
each leg is a pillar of fantastic thigh
and that tongue.

Long-lived!

A HUNDRED POEMS – 070 (rev)

In the hush of eve’s unfolding,
amidst days now worn thin,
a weary spirit takes its leave—
hope, like dawn, begins to break
across these weary hours (tonight),
where faith escapes my grasp,
and love, too, seems distant,
yet my yearning still holds fast.

Why can’t i can’t forget you
and take you within me

YOU don’t love like i love you
how i knew; never wore your ring
I should hate you ;

Why is beauty so obscure?

I WAS ONCE HUMAN AND REMEMBER LOVE

I, the progeny of reticence,
Bearer of a silence deemed base,
I am the heir to naught in particular,
Yet, I am kin to all.

Hush thy lips,
How dare thee claim
My path amiss?
For I am but human,
Yearning for love,
As does every soul.

I, the descendant of bashfulness,
Inheritor of an undefined destiny,
I am the son and heir
To a shy demeanor, deemed criminal.

Silence thy tongue,
How dare thee opine
My ways askew?
For I am human,
In need of affection,
As are all beings.

There exists a gathering,
Would thou care to attend?
Perhaps, there, true love awaits thee.
So thou venture forth alone,
And depart alone,
And return home to weep,
And wish for the end.

When thou declare, “It shall come to pass,”
Pray, when precisely doth thy meaning unfold?
For I have tarried far too long,
And my hope hath waned.

Cease thy words,
How dare thee insist
My approach flawed?
For I am human,
In pursuit of love’s embrace,
Just like all others.

love, only love

In the hush of morn’s embrace I tread,
Where love and grace, a cosmic thread,
I stroll midst fields of earthly lore,
A shepherd’s heart, a sacred core.

Each soul I see, a cosmic spark,
Eternal echoes in the dark,
In joys and sorrows, love’s refrain,
I find a strand that won’t wane.

On rolling hills, in meadows wide,
A dance divine, a universe to guide,
Lilies bloom, and sparrows trill,
In every heartbeat, a cosmic thrill.

Forgiveness, like a gentle shower,
Washes away sin’s gripping power,
A river flowing, deep and free,
Through every heart, my grace, you see.

In humble homes and bustling streets,
My presence lingers, love repeats,
Acts of kindness, pure and true,
The path that leads to skies of blue.

The broken, lost, and weary soul,
I hold them close, make them whole,
Mending wounds with tender care,
A Savior’s love, beyond compare.

Let your light shine, a radiant beam,
In the grand design, a vibrant dream,
The tapestry of grace unfold,
My love in every story told.

Embrace the truth, the way, the life,
Banish hatred, anger, strife,
In every step, in every voice,
Hear my whisper, the soul’s rejoice.

In the pages of this verse divine,
A timeless message, a sacred sign,
Love one another, as I love you,
In this eternal, boundless view.

MISTREL WIND

In a glen where moonlight weaves its gentle spell,
A fairy court in secret, where tales of love do swell.
With wings of iridescence, they gather ‘neath the trees,
Loving fairies enchanted, dancing in the evening breeze.

Their laughter tinkles like a stream in sweet delight,
As they weave a tapestry of dreams in the soft moonlight.
A mortal man, a gentle soul, stumbles upon their glade,
Captured by the magic, in love’s enchantment laid.

Fairies with hearts so tender, wings of gossamer grace,
Flutter ’round the mortal, a smile upon each face.
They whisper words of wonder, weaving spells so sweet,
As love blossoms in the moonlit glen, a dance of hearts complete.

He, a mortal dreamer, lost in their embrace,
Entwined with fairy magic, a love so full of grace.
The fairies’ laughter mingles with his heartbeat’s song,
A serenade of enchantment that lasts the whole night long.

United in the moonlight, a tale of love unfolds,
A human man embraced by fairies, their story to be told.
In the glen where dreams are spun, beneath the stars above,
Loving fairies and a mortal man share a timeless love.
