Love Is All Things

In the hush of twilight, allow me to confess one truth to you.

Picture this, if you will: the silvery luminescence of the moon’s face, the crimson tendrils of autumn creeping languidly across my windowpane. Imagine my fingertips grazing the ethereal remnants of burnt offerings near the crackling hearth or tracing the weathered contours of a steadfast log. In these moments, every sensory whisper guides me back to you, as though the very essence of existence, from fragrances to the soft caress of light, from precious metals to the subtlest of breezes, conspires like a fleet of miniature vessels, navigating the currents toward those distant isles of yours, patiently awaiting my arrival.

Yet, here lies a caveat: if, by some cruel design, your love for me wanes, I shall reciprocate in kind, a gradual evaporation of affection mirroring your own retreat. And if, perchance, you find yourself ensnared in the tendrils of forgetfulness, do not seek my presence, for by then, I would have seamlessly dissolved into the tapestry of your forgotten memories.

Should you perceive the passage of time, marked by the unfurling of banners in the tempest of my existence, and should you decide to abandon our shared harbor, where the roots of my heart dig deep, remember this solemn promise: on that fateful day, at that precise hour, I will raise my arms, and my very essence will embark on a quest for a new homeland, unbound by past affections.

However, if with each passing day, every fleeting hour, an unwavering certainty crystallizes within you, a sweet yet unyielding conviction that our destinies are entwined, then imagine this: a delicate blossom ascending toward your lips, seeking solace. Ah, my love, my very being resonates with that ardor, echoing it, reflecting it back upon you. In me, the flames of passion are rekindled; nothing fades into oblivion, nothing is lost. My love, my cherished, my soul finds sustenance in the boundless reservoir of your affections. As long as your heart beats, I shall reside in your embrace, an inseparable part of you, unyielding and eternal.

A Crying Butterfly

\\

THE BUTTERFLY may cry
within its wings
sometimes

Waiting for a soul
like its person

Like a mirror reflecting
love without fear

it may die.

MY HANDS WITHIN ALL MY WOUNDS

In swift retribution, Karma finds her prey,
Striking with a force, you can’t keep at bay,
Gather your senses, for time does not wait,
Soon you’ll face your fate, it’s not up for debate.

What misguided thoughts swirl within your mind,
Mocking love’s essence, so callously unkind?
What purpose drives you, to such heartless rue?
The choice lies with you, and you alone, it’s true.

Karma’s gaze, unyielding, upon you will land,
Meet her eyes, bravely, take her by the hand,
Embrace your humanity, join the earthly dance,
In unity, we stand, a single, shared chance.

Why do we wander this world, so lost and blind?
Laughing at wisdom, our hearts left behind,
Who do you claim to be, in your shining guise?
A celestial being, or just full of lies?

Together, we gleam, like the stars up high,
In the vast expanse of the moonlit sky,
Every soul, a beacon, in the darkness, so vast,
Come, join our light, make the moment last.

Karma’s blow strikes true, shakes you to the core,
See your fellow beings, recognize them more,
In each face, a brother, in every eye, a friend,
Our shared humanity, on it, we depend.

Why do we exist, in this world so wide?
Not in anguish, nor fear, but to walk with pride,
Why, then, do you falter, when life’s everywhere?
Claim your rightful place, in this grand affair.

We shine together, like the stars above,
A symphony of light, an endless, boundless love,
Onward we go, in this cosmic, endless run,
Shining bright, like the moon, like the stars, like the sun.

Yes, we all shine on, in the night’s soft gleam,
In the sun’s golden rays, in a shared, waking dream,
We illuminate the heavens, from dusk till dawn,
In unity we glow, on and on and on.

DON’T ASK ME WHY I NEVER SAID GOODBYE

AND if i say i love you
i know my love is my love
and maybe not yours

how we fought poverty girl
we understood but we fought
and made it all good

how we raised our love
in the children we had
and brought love to them

it always holds the key
namely the flame of love

and then you left me
searching for something
you always had here.

It’s everywhere / my love \

HEAVENLY POLITICS

In mortal minds, there lies a thought,
Of congress marred, by eyes uncaught.
Yet higher realms, where spirits soar,
A battle fierce, forever more.
In heavenly abode, unseen by men,
A congress grand, beyond our ken.
The spirit’s war, in realms on high,
An epic tale, above the sky.

TWILIGHT’S GLEAMING SOUL

In twilight’s dance, she graces space,
midst stars that claim their cosmic place,
where shadows blend with brilliance bright,
her eyes reflect the vast of night,
a softened gleam, like heaven’s breath,
day’s harshness cannot pierce its depth.

One hue awry, one gleam astray,
would taint the grace we can’t portray,
in every strand of midnight’s veil,
on gentle brow, a story frail,
in tranquil thoughts, a haven true,
a cherished realm where dreams anew.
