brilliant light
in haste you left
a speck of ember
it burns my heart

How long shall it be
like sands ebbed away
are all my hopes
a castle ruined at sea

Lovely bright my life
a taste of Spring
is what river i thirst
just a cup to drink

This i know briefly
then it goes away
ever so quietly
a tide within the sea
