CLARITY of a moment so ever short
is what chanced to visit this day
it did not knock or ring its presence
should I complain – it has its own ways
Upon a trembling surface – clearly my eyes
all formality and pomposity – it stripped away
laying bare the simplicity of all humanity
beauty, love, vulnerability – I could not bear
::::
LIES beyond the trees belies the deeds
Is no wonder why the world screams and bleeds
The weight of blame shunder beneath my shame
I cried before all of humanity in all insanity
And asked the heavens for forgiveness — no blame
Nature spoke and instantly so violently I choked
No release say the elements — as they spoke
Fire dances and water bleeds between rocks
Humanity needs no less to breed good stock
Today I cried a river and bled a fire
Knowing nothing less than a pyre
Could ever lessen my pain to gain in life

I SAW a lie — cross a path
it was anemic and weak
as it made its way
craving a soul that only knows —
a life in fear and pain
it did not have far to go…
::::
YOU took me — away
from all of this
madness today
just to say that…
You know me
and want much more
from my heart
just feed on the sores
I’m upside down now
inside and out of sound
follow the broken notes
killing time to save mind
I’m upside down now
without sound and rhythm
sing to me in drifts of motes
riffs twisting minor notes
::::
THIS confession brings me
immense tingling pleasure
when words collide upon my skin
releasing all my tension
the greatest lover is such prose
finding it I am much disposed
where are you the woman who kisses words
she devours the lore of my heart
insane…insanity clearly shadows my self
asking for the one alone in life
who trembles within a thimble of keys
upon a screen – a fire above my knees
