ACHING THORAX

tweedle-dee my lover me
I saw a bumble bee dew
a revolt in colonies ensued
and I choked honey across
a field so wide my Queen
And in my pain I refrain!
the high winds coming
and a rain in my vein
— drowns all the worker bees
so sorry my aching thorax
a buzzing in my head
no pollination in my heart
just a fire death in the rain
and I smell it heading my way!
My flower dream is so close
but ah, I surely died today
