If when night-stretched
moonlit hands gently
like touching lyrical
midnight mockingbird’s
gentle heart, then now
if when perfect kisses
are given, then if when
night-stretched hearts
sing so do all souls
by nature!

MY God I saw
the love-bug today
red and black so like
the spots upon my heart!
She crawled upon my sleeve
where be tender tears
and drank away the sorrow
