Once She Saw Me

In her gaze, a shimmering mystery,
A tale of love, whispered softly to me.

With each glance, she paints a story,
In her style, I find love’s glory.

Her eyes, like stars in the night,
Twinkle with secrets, oh so bright.

Her lips, a promise yet unspoken,
In her touch, my heart awoken.

“I love you,” she whispers, so sweet,
Her longing, a melody, my heart’s beat.

Like Mona Lisa, her grace divine,
In her presence, love’s purest wine.

“Ask me my name,” she softly implores,
In her eyes, love’s flame soars.

Yet, in uncertainty, I am lost,
In her mystery, love’s tempest tossed.

But oh, in her ways, a love so true,
In her embrace, I find my due.

Once she saw me, and I saw her too,
In her love, forever I pursue.

A HUNDRED POEMS – XXXIV

Oh, Devastation, you’re a ravishing sight,

Your beauty leaves me breathless, day and night.

Your fluttering lashes, a hypnotic trance,

That pulls me deeper into a romantic dance.

Your eyes, like precious jewels, shine so bright,

Reflecting my love for you with sheer delight.

Time stops when you’re around, my world fades away,

And all I see is you, in every single way.

Oh, love, sweet love, how it blossoms within,

A love so perfect, it feels like a sin.

Devastating love, it’s what I desire,

A love that sets my heart and soul on fire.

So love me, my darling, with all that you are,

And we’ll journey together, near or far.

Every Point Overlapping Every Point

In realms where every point meets its match,
A pot of gold rests, in worlds unlatched.
Oh, let babes cry, let laughter dance,
As we cradle galaxies in our hands, perchance.

Behold, my smiling babe of lore,
At life’s train station, death’s door.
Voices of children, wise beyond years,
Echo truths amidst our fears.

Historical amnesia, our ailment dire,
Yet in each tear, a whispered choir.
So cry, dear babe, and strive anew,
In this tapestry, find the hue.

Greed, a poison in our veins,
Mutes the voices, dims the flames.
Lost astronauts in steel’s cruel embrace,
Seeking solace in another space.

Oh, noble Laureates, heed this plea,
In every word, a symphony.
For in every point, the universe sings,
And in every cry, hope springs.

Quiet Tears Upon a Dark Night

Upon the night’s silver screen, oh what a scene,
A melody whispers, like a dream serene.
No need for words, just shadows in flight,
Starlight’s tales weaving, oh what a sight.

Each note, a sigh, in the midnight air,
Shadows waltz with the moon, without a care.
Dreams unfold secrets, in the quiet night,
Underneath the stars, everything feels right.

In every chord, a universe alive,
A symphony of souls, ready to thrive.
In solitude, the heart finds its place,
In the moon’s gentle glow, a familiar embrace.

Oh, let’s linger here, in this lunar trance,
Where music dances, in a cosmic dance.
Eternal sonata, under the moon’s soft glow,
In this quiet night, our spirits do flow.

Nightmares & Sweet Dreams

In the dead of night, I close my eyes to sleep,
But into darkness, my subconscious starts to creep.
I’m trapped within a nightmare, a twisted scene unfolds,
Where shadows dance with demons, and terror takes its hold.

Oh, in the grip of fear, I cannot scream,
Lost in the maze of a horrific dream.
Monsters lurk in the corners of my mind,
In this surreal world, there’s no solace to find.

I stumble through the darkness, chased by unseen foes,
Their whispers echo hauntingly, chilling to the bone.
Every step I take, I feel the dread draw near,
In this nightmare realm, there’s no escape, no sanctuary here.

Oh, in the grip of fear, I cannot scream,
Lost in the maze of a horrific dream.
Monsters lurk in the corners of my mind,
In this surreal world, there’s no solace to find.

I try to wake myself, to break free from this trance,
But the nightmare tightens its grip, refusing to enhance.
Each moment feels like an eternity, trapped in this twisted scheme,
Oh, how I long for morning light, to shatter this dreadful dream.

Oh, in the grip of fear, I cannot scream,
Lost in the maze of a horrific dream.
Monsters lurk in the corners of my mind,
In this surreal world, there’s no solace to find.

As the first rays of dawn break through the night,
I wake with a gasp, bathed in cold sweat, filled with fright.
Though the nightmare fades, its echoes still remain,
A chilling reminder of the horrors that haunt the domain of my brain.

Words Like Sweet Lips

In the era of constant flux, mastering the art of loss,
Each twist of fate, a digital tale,
Where shadows flicker amidst chaos

She got the white bedsheets
you got the lost heart

She gives and she takes
and you are lost

Daily, I surrender to the rush and toss,
Lost keys and wasted time, a modern travail
Mastering loss in this digital gloss

Words like sweet lips

Further I drift, speedily across,
Forgetting names, places, without fail
No catastrophe in this digital dross

Into me and i come beautiful into you

Touch lips, forget my worries for you
I often crash and forget my worries

Mother’s watch slips, a memory at loss,
Homes fade away, in the virtual veil
Mastering loss in this digital gloss

if one is one and two begs three
my haste, holding my heart close
baby, I come for you

Cities fall, realms dissolve, at a click’s toss,
Rivers dry, continents in email
Yet not a crisis, nor a digital dross

Even in losing you, our virtual gloss,
Your texts and memes, a fleeting trail
Mastering loss in this digital gloss,
Where disaster and beauty in pixels emboss

Always, if i am overboard and in haste
i hold close, you come and hug me
always like words dug up to speak for me

it’s like words

And sweet lips.

The Tiger Who Grew Old

Once I thought you a tiger,
Now a kitten, frail and small,
Once so fierce, your roar resounding,
Now a whisper, faint and pall.

Your eyes, once ablaze with fire,
Now dimmed by time’s relentless march,
Once you prowled with graceful stride,
Now you stumble in the dark.

Gone the days of wild defiance,
Now surrender to the night,
Once a ruler of the jungle,
Now a shadow, lost in flight.

Yet in your gentle purring,
Lies the echo of your past,
Once a king, now humbled servant,
Memories fading, fading fast.

Once I thought you a tiger,
Now a kitten, frail and thin,
Once so fierce, but now I see,
You were always gentle within.

No Title for Death

In shadows deep, where thoughts do flee, The mortician’s hand doth lay on me. To rest, to sleep, no longer sane, In death’s embrace, I now remain.

A scream within, a silent cry, As pale as death, as cold as night. My form he checks, with careful ease, A ghastly dance, a grim disease.

With bath and song, a mournful tune, He tends to me beneath the moon. Two hands of strength, with skill and grace, Set my visage, in death’s embrace.

Arterial flow, a crimson tide, Drains away, where secrets hide. The hollow core, where souls decay, Is purged and cleansed, in grim array.

The hum of death, a ceaseless sound, As flames of desire doth surround. With final breath, I shed my skin, To face the void, to face within.

And in that moment, once again, I ponder choice, in death’s domain. To linger still, or flee the night, In death’s passages, eternal flight.

IMHOTEP AND HORDJEDEF

WORLD my nectaur ~~~ oh, spirit
while the sun eats my woes
the ground heals my soul
Light passes across fertile ground
upon night death a kindly fate
how ancestors in time weep
the gods now rest for centuries
within their undiscovered tombs
Roads covered by dust
how Imhotep and Hordjedef ache
their words no longer rectited in whole.

In this time their deeds unknown
their places gone as though never been!
