A HUNDRED POEMS – 051

TODAY I saw creation
in that act of submission
with my human hands
a crafted answer
—                        did I do
not of God-breath
or cosmic fire-brew
but through a passion
deeply–passion dew
my works of art, live!
a life longer than my own
my love, to you I give
what is love if not art

LE REVE (THE DREAM)

WHAT distortion of dreams
over simple lines — trip
my mind when I see

fractured beauty

a contrast color
the beads of red
and yellow

upon broad shoulders
and clasping hands
over burning Mother

A pity short lived —
Fauvism so gently going
but the passion remains

ART

IF you wish to see reality…look out the window.

If you want to view art…
look within.

MONET’S NIMPHEE

THERE is an art between the green
lushes fern-meadow dripping wet
and on the ground swirling pond

A melancholy-lust bursting kiss
such desire have I to jump across
Monet’s Nimphee and into the mist

Monet, paint for me the love you see
and cast your brush across the sea
of the land and salt within my heart

PICASSO

Picasso
where do you draw the line
disjointed  reasons
etches across my mind
a proverbial thought on hinge

what say you my man – so abstract
rejoicing voices
love shares bisecting angles
and pleasure diverge across points

a fissure in creativity moves
you crawled out
punching reality in the jaw
shatter concepts – creating new law
