QUAND JE SUIS SEUL, JE M’ASSOIS ET JE RêVE

QUAND JE SUIS SEUL, JE M’ASSOIS ET JE RêVE
(WHEN I AM ALONE I SET AND DREAM)

City streets, concrete veins,
Pulsing with life’s relentless beat.
Neon lights flicker,
Casting shadows that dance
In the alleys of forgotten dreams.

My love, my lost one whom I love
When I am home I sit and then dream

People move like ghosts,
Lost in the rhythm of the night.
Their faces tell stories,
Each line a chapter
In the book of urban solitude.

Through the door of life I met you
and fell into eternal love

Smoke curls from alleyways,
A silent plea to the indifferent sky.
Voices echo off brick walls,
Carrying secrets too heavy
For hearts burdened by the city’s weight.

But amidst the chaos,
There is beauty,
A flicker of hope
In the eyes of those who dare
To dream in shades of gray.

In the heart of the metropolis,
Where dreams are born
And buried beneath layers of asphalt,
There lies a spark of resilience,
A defiance that refuses to be extinguished.

For in the city’s heartbeat,
There is poetry,
A symphony of life
That echoes through the streets,
A testament to the indomitable spirit
Of those who call it home.

And our Hearts to never say goodbye
when sun meets moon they exchange
true light of their own

And then, as us, we exist no more
but fall into a dream of existence
where love is all things

ODE TO JOY (modern rendition)

Oh friends, not these tones so drear,
But let us sing of cheer sincere,
With joyful hearts, our voices raise,
In jubilant, melodious praise.

Joy, joy, joy, O radiant spark divine,
Descended from Elysian line,
With fervent flames our souls inspire,
In heaven’s hall, our spirits higher.

Celestial beings, hallowed and true,
Within your haven, we renew,
Your enchantments weave their spell,
Uniting all, where differences fell.

In your gentle wings, we find repose,
Where every heart in kinship glows,
Friend with friend, in bonds secure,
With loyal love, forevermore.

The faithful spouse, in joy’s embrace,
In jubilance, their cheers we trace,
And souls that stir on earthly sod,
Join in chorus, praising God.

Yet those who weep in solitude,
From bonds of joy are not subdued,
All creatures, from nature’s breast,
Partake in joy, divinely blessed.

In life’s embrace, where friendships end,
The worm finds solace, true and friend,
And cherubs, by God’s throne, delight,
In suns that blaze, in endless flight.

Brothers, let us heed the call,
To triumph as heroes, one and all,
In heaven’s grand design, we run,
Our course with joy, till day is done.

Run, brothers, run, with hearts aglow,
Through triumph’s path, we boldly go,
In jubilant stride, our journey take,
Like heroes bold, our joy awake.

Joyful, joyful, like heroes we fly,
O’er stars that light the vast sky,
With boundless love, our spirits rise,
To realms where our dear Father lies.

Millions, be embraced in this kiss divine,
For all the world, this love is thine,
Brothers, beyond the starry dome,
Our Father dwells, in heavenly home.

Millions, do you feel the Creator’s might?
Above the stars, in realms of light,
In infinite grace, He reigns on high,
In joyous praise, let our spirits fly.

Another Mother’s Heart Breaking

One Earth one people
One chance Once choice

We are living
We are dying

So many heads
hanging lowly

hearts beating
for families

Guns, bombs,
atoms, dust
fire and death

Inside
decayed
life

All the lying
All the fear
All the failure

So mistaken
not ever knowing
we are all family

Beautiful Words From Her Grave

From the quiet depths of my repose,
I rise, a specter of verse and woe,
To lend my voice to this poetic fray,
In my voice and guise, I’ll have my say.

As Emily.

Upon the stair’s highest brink I’ll stand,
Gazing upon a garden’s urn in hand.
Let sunlight thread through each solitary hair,
In quiet contemplation, I’ll ponder there.

To wish a swift departure, ah, how vain!
Or for her heart to linger, steeped in pain.
Yet such is life’s ephemeral dance,
Each soul must part from its mortal trance.

In search of paths both light and fleet,
Where heart and mind in union meet,
A quest as fragile as a smile’s brief grace,
Or a gentle touch, a warm embrace.

As autumn’s breath whispers its refrain,
In my mind’s eye, I’ll call forth the pain.
My arms laden with blossoms fair,
A vision lost to the autumn air.

Oh, the musings that linger and roam,
In midnight’s silence, in noon’s bright dome.
Emily Dickinson, through endless throes,
In verse, in spirit, I’ll forever compose.

ODE TO MERLOT

There’s something in Merlot’s hue,
A sip so pleasing to my soul;
A crimson, a tranquil Merlot’s brew;
I wish it near, to make me whole.

There’s something in Merlot’s grace,
Before the feast and jests take flight,
And truth be told, in its embrace,
It’s not the glass, but its depth of light.

She Moves On

IS she beautiful…first watching her eyes
Thunderous waves of oceans she destroys
Before a brilliant noise of Life
her lungs eternal enormously flourishing

— not upon Earth or it’s Oceans
but within Space she goes

flourishing within eons of distance
having met Earth and it’s creatures.
She moves on.

Unto the deepest of time and space.

Unlock Love

In places I’ve never explored, gladly beyond
any known experience, your eyes speak quietly:
Even in your smallest gestures, there’s something
that envelops me, or eludes my touch because it’s too close.

Your slightest glance effortlessly unlocks me,
Though I’ve closed myself off like a tight fist,
You unfurl me like Spring unfurls
Its first rose, with a touch that’s skilled and mysterious.

And if you wish to close me, then I,
And my life, will shut beautifully, suddenly,
Like when a flower’s heart imagines
The snow falling meticulously, everywhere.

Nothing we perceive in this world compares
to the power of your intense vulnerability: whose texture
compels me with the colors of far-off lands,
bringing death and eternity with every breath.

(I don’t know what it is about you that opens
and closes; only something in me understands
that the voice of your eyes is deeper than any rose)
No one, not even the rain, has hands so small.

A Velvet Night

whispering winds dance with trees
in the forest’s silent symphony
a symphony of rustling leaves
as nature sings its melody

moonbeams weave through night’s embrace
painting dreams in silver lace
a tapestry of shimmering light
guiding souls through the velvet night

stars wink in the vast expanse
whispering secrets in cosmic dance
a celestial ballet, infinite and free
where magic lives eternally_____

By Divine Design

By divine design, a melody takes flight,
Like sunbeams dancing on a celestial height.

Each note, a whisper from the heavens above,
A tapestry of sound woven with love.

Fingers dance on ivory keys so white,
Translating the divine into earthly light.

(By divine design, a melody unfolds,

A symphony within, a story untold)

Each phrase, a brushstroke on the canvas of the soul,
Unearthing emotions, making them whole.

A dance of joy, a whisper of despair,
The melody reflects the burdens we all bear.

The angels sing:

“By divine design, a melody ignites,
A journey through landscapes, bathed in starlight!”

This poem, broken writes:

“From rolling hills where gentle breezes sigh,
To mountain peaks that pierce the endless sky.
The melody evolves, a constant surprise,
Unveiling mysteries in each listener’s eyes.”

Notes:

I express my love and soul through divine design.
The thematic depth and this poem’s ability to evoke
powerful emotions and imagery.

I write notes because after I am gone I wish the readers
to understand what I have written. I am not cheating.
I am telling you, the reader why I wrote this poem.

This written poem delves into a transformative nature
of words and music and its ability to connect individuals
on a spiritual level. The imagery of fingers dancing on
ivory keys and phrases being brushstrokes on the canvas
of the soul highlights the profound emotional and
psychological impact of music.

My poem also acknowledges the universal human experience
of joy and despair, suggesting that music has the power
to reflect and alleviate the burdens we carry.

Overall, I want to express words and music as a universal
language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers.

A HUNDRED POEMS – LV

In the tapestry of verse, my poetry lies,
A shattered mosaic beneath somber skies
.
Each fracture a tale of a distant past,
A kaleidoscope of memories amassed.

I am not whole, nor is my verse complete,
A mirror reflecting sorrows, bittersweet.
In every shard, a glimpse of my soul,
A fractured image I cannot control.

Yet in these fragments, truths reside,
Echoes of me I cannot hide.
Though my poetry may lack completion,
It’s a testament to my inner disposition.

So let me embrace this fractured art,
Wearing scars with grace, a noble part.
For within each shard, a tale is woven,
A journey of pain, yet also of devotion.
