ROMEO AND JULIET’S PASSION

In this moment, as we embrace,
Our hearts entwine with tender grace,
Amidst a world of strife and fear,
Our love is born, and it is clear.

Our passion, though forbidden, true,
Renews the hope of something new,
Of love that transcends race and creed,
Of hearts that beat, with one great need.

Our time together, short and sweet,
Is filled with joy and bliss complete,
We find in each other’s embrace,
A respite from the world’s harsh face.

And even as the world around,
Comes crashing down with thunderous sound,
We hold each other, tight and fast,
And know that love will surely last.

For though our time together fades,
Our love, it will not be betrayed,
In hearts and minds, it will remain,
A time for us, free from all pain.

I am Vast as Expansive

Vast as the rolling waves, I am
With the sea’s droplet approaching me, tender and calm
The siren’s song echoes, “I love you” through time
My soul depleted, eternally confined

Far I have traveled, across the seas and land,
Through tumultuous storms and barren sands.
To glimpse your form, to feel the warmth of your skin,
To bask in the radiance of your beauty, without and within.

For I cannot depart, without laying my eyes,
On the one I cherish, my heart’s true prize.
I fear the thought of goodbyes, of losing you forevermore,
Of being cast adrift, on the lonely sea’s endless shore.

So I wait here, vast and rolling,
With the sea’s droplet, my heart’s longing.
For the day when you will come to me,
And I will finally be complete, eternally free.

Never Far Away

As you close your eyes, the world spins on,
A dance of light and shadow that carries on,
But worry not, my child, for you are safe with me,
In a world of love and warmth, where we’ll always be.

As memories of sunny days drift through your mind,
Of emerald bays and gentle winds that left us intertwined,
Let those moments fill you with joy and ease,
As we set sail into the night, with the stars as our keys.

Like a ship upon the sea, we’ll glide and sway,
Rocking gently to the rhythm of the waves at play,
And in this peaceful lullaby, I’ll whisper in your ear,
That you’ll always hold a special place, both near and dear.

For as you slumber, with the world spinning on,
Know that you are never far from my heart and soul,
A part of me that will always carry on,
A love that’s infinite, and forever whole.

Love Letters # 1 & # 2

Love Letter #01

Oh angel of mine, my very being,
Why must we bear this sorrow so unseeing,
When necessity calls, can our love survive,
Without sacrifices, and all we derive.

Can we change the fact, you’re not wholly mine,
Nor am I wholly yours, it’s not by design,
Dear God, look at nature, so pure and true,
And let our hearts be still, as we must do.

Love demands everything, this we know,
And rightly so, for love to grow and show,
Soon we shall meet, and talk of the thoughts,
Of our lives and the love that it brought.

If our hearts were always one and the same,
I would have no thoughts of love’s great game,
My heart overflows with longing to share,
So much, so much, words cannot declare.

There are moments when speech is not enough,
But be cheerful, my love, and never rough,
Be my faithful and my only sweetheart,
As I am yours, and never be apart.

The gods will send all that must come our way,
Our fate is written, whatever they may say.

Love Letter #02

Without you, life is different now.
People show kindness here and there,
Though I feel I don’t deserve it at all,
As if it’s a hollow tribute from one man to another.
It hurts me, especially when I think about
My place in the vast universe, and wonder
What am I, and what is that man called “the greatest”?
Yet, within us all lies something divine.

However much you love me, know that
My love for you is even greater.
Please never hide from me.
Good night, dear God. You feel so near yet so far.
Our love is founded in heaven,
Strongly cemented in the firmament above.

Love’s Dream

The moonlight shimmers on water’s edge,
A gentle breeze rustles through trees,
And in my heart, a melody’s born,
A song of love, that sets my spirit free.

The notes, like butterflies, take flight,
Dancing upon a breeze with grace and light,
A symphony of passion and delight,
That fills my soul with purest joy and might.

The world around me fades away,
as I am lost in the divine play,
A moment suspended in time and space,
A glimpse of heaven, in earthly place.

And in this moment, love’s sweet spell,
Enwraps me with a gentle swell,
the magic that I cannot tell,
But that my heart knows oh so well.

So let the melody linger on,
A tribute to love, forever strong,
And let its sweet, celestial song,
Guide us through life, where we belong.

Before A Kiss – Abstract Thoughts

In the depths of my mind, I spin,
Lost in a world of dream and din,
Where colors blend and thoughts begin,
A crazy, abstract world within.

The sky is red, the grass is blue,
The trees are singing, the flowers moo,
And all the creatures, strange and new,
Are dancing in a rainbow hue.

The sun is smiling, the moon is weeping,
The stars are laughing, the comets creeping,
The world is alive, but it’s not sleeping,
In my abstract mind, there’s no time for keeping.

The river flows, but it’s upside down,
The mountains dance, without a sound,
The clouds are soft, but they wear a crown,
And all around, there’s no solid ground.

I ride a bicycle made of air,
And sing a song without a care,
I float above a world so rare,
And dance with all the creatures there.

In this surreal world of mine,
There’s no limit to what I can find,
My imagination runs wild and divine,
A world of deep abstract and surrealism, so fine.

Two Lovers Eternally

In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
Two star-crossed lovers met and fell in love,
Their families’ feud a barrier between
The passions of these two, sent from above.

But love knows not of hate, nor time, nor place,
And Romeo and Juliet could not resist
The pull of fate, the magic of their grace,
And so they vowed to love, no matter the risk.

Their love was pure, a flame that burned so bright,
That even death could not put out its light.
For though they died, their love did not expire,
But lived on in the hearts of all who desire

To find a love that’s true, a love that’s real,
Like Romeo and Juliet, forever to feel.

Love, Loss, and Enlightenment

Lost in love’s labyrinthine ways,
I wandered far in passion’s haze.
I gave my heart with wild abandon,
And prayed my love would never falter.

But in the end, betrayal came,
A dagger to my heart in flames.
I thought my love had been true,
But now I see, it was all askew.

I wept and raged, and cursed the fates,
For such a cruel and bitter fate.
But then, amidst the dark despair,
A glimmer of hope, a light so rare.

For in that moment, I realized,
That love is not just sunshine skies.
It’s also storms and raging seas,
That test our hearts and make us see.

That true love is not just sweet,
It’s also bitter, and complete.
For only in the depths of pain,
Can we find the light of love again.

So now I stand, enlightened and strong,
A survivor of love’s cruel song.
For though my heart may bear the scars,
I know that love can heal all stars.

And so I walk, with head held high,
A heart that’s open, and a soul that’s wise.
For though the road is long and winding,
Love is eternal, always binding.

Nature’s Birth

Nature’s birth, so wild and free A symphony of life, for all to see As I walk these paths alone I feel the rhythm of the earth’s gentle tone My steps may falter, but I am strong With every breath, I sing nature’s song The wood and rock, the briar twine All a part of this world so divine With every step, my heart takes flight For in nature’s embrace, all is right The dewey moss, the fallen trees All a part of nature’s melodies For many miles, I walk this land And feel the gentle touch of nature’s hand Tears may fall, but in its birth Nature brings a love so pure and worth So I ask, will you give me a voice to remember? For in nature’s embrace, my love will never surrender And though I may never hear you again Nature’s birth will always remain my greatest friend.

A HUNDRED POEMS XIV(TO MY DAUGHTER)

What spirit imbue that flesh! A love as thy mother in her best
twinkle eye too, heart of gold that mystic flair balance dew
upon the blade of green-soothe and touch thy father’s heart, too!

And thou tend to good deeds that love and life bequeath all
a fire and tender twinkle too thy father so joyous tears sing
and moon and bird-song along shall forever follow you!

Her lovely grace in turmoil say and his heart too shall always beat
for you the world and all its gifts not of gold or position in world
but that tender spot angels dance that room which first I met you

Which must have the best cot that for ever remain has my home
Thou art a fair thing a bloom of sweet beauty, fair fair, I mean
It’s more than the roses a bright noon-day bringing the day
it’s not the grass all broken now it’s not the rain after, or not
a cold kiss of winter night it’s what’s inside the one
but their fur or not, they’re not as dear they’re neither roses nor grass
but what’s inside the heart-and the bloom that come to keep that

What winds’ soft breath, what autumn songs from the skies that day
and what beauty was not lost come from the heart’s cleft,
a heart I hold in mine to thy father that who now with eyes in silence fix
tears of heart that he will weep for you,
From Heaven above have come
