A HUNDRED POEMS – LXXVI

NO I do not believe
never  a moment!
Such insanity that
love survives HERE
and my LOVE is over there?
Never!

A HUNDRED POEMS – LXXXI

Was it the summer
that melted
lovers and dreams?
And how to know
what other’s brew
within their hearts
a season unto its own
I should keep myself
within my own
a kitchen of heaven
where meals are born
from life and love

A HUNDRED POEMS – LXXIX

Such fair weather
what storm-burst hearts
When caressing
heat-touch brilliant
morning’s sun each light
drenched steep
Warring showers within
the beautiful sorrows!
On a blue sky mourning
my bruised heart singing
songs-blue jay melodies
in meadows kissing me!

BIRDS & DREAMS

i do miss
the featured
creature
the tickle-beak
upon my hand
as i feed her
all my flying
dreams!

WHAT fear that burns
that all the eye can see
the morning bird upon a tree
such burning truth that melody!
sweeping morning clear the night
erasing visage of thick-white fog
and the mortal soul
who is lost within last night
upon this beautiful day
of mourning light!

MY MOUTH TODAY

I hate my mouth today
it’s Friday
hate how I feel
everyone’s a ghost
and i’m all with shadows
alone within walls
and everyone laughs
for a good night
and should i feel
When the sound
recedes like you too
a nasty thought opposite
from shame i say
when you leave my shadow
” it’s Jesus’ mother,
Mary! Mary! Mary!
yeah yeah yeah!”
I died before Him
I died before Him
and now I am all
I am and what I
am is all we are
all we are is what
I loved
all I loved
is what I am

EMOTIONAL PROSTITUTE

EMOTIONAL PROSTITUTE

i hate that i love you
my mouth confess
like land-locked clouds
some mist before eyes
retains confusion:
but do not let it cause
you distress
as i love you always
and again.
You are everything and
again wait here!
While i hope for your
smile — you’re so outside
the hopeless song and i’m
so tongue-tied, yet i loved
you dearly while i don’t
want to be with you;
the jealous and timid mind
knows:
So jealously and dreamy i
once loved my everything
within you so I pray God
grant another that loves you
so.

SO delicately
I said to
the VOID:
“I love you.”
And quietly
I listened…
NOTHING
AVOID!

WHAT FUTURE TOMORROWS

There past the before of today the heart and soul tenderly aches
for the simpler times
of bygone era
where feet once were
to horseback and hoof
as wheels to silver steel wings
— travel much a quickeroo
but less to see!
months to weeks
from days to minutes
dizzy-spinning mind in me!
What future tomorrows
shall less sanity bring
where wings away fall
to conquer nature’s pull
blink-less stellar travel
and time-river reversal!
Such command and power
— but we lose it all,
human-less are we
a mere reflection
of what was-be
such horrid tragedy!
