Detached petal Beneath a midnight sun Catch your kiss Before it’s gone i have your skin Within my soul You’ve no other To burn so i go i'm still planted Within the garden Of the dead Keeping my stem toward The midnight sun i'm the one you Pulled to blow Twisting within The charcoal air i'm the spirit With a bee Stealing all The nectar Of my life And if i pollinate Before i'm gone Let it be somewhere The daylight sun goes Because i'm the spirit With a bee stealing all The nectar of my life :: 10-07-2017 ::

The Nectar of My Life
VIII
Don’t You Dare You Can’t Catch Me
the light is coming beyond a morning’s curve
expectations of a day with hours
and i don’t know oh where does it go?
pennies falling within a funnel
minds too and love for fools
Time a piece of Meringue pie
baked in an oven ; a large glass
or metal bowl
as the world asks, ‘where does
time go?’
While walking down a street
(don’t you dare you can’t catch me)
the weak lie crossing the road
a hole within my sole reaching out
to the lost one’s within the cracks
The cobbler has his awl and knows
space has it’s mistress ‘time’
and we know how that goes
Don’t you dare you cannot feel me
anymore
Don’t you dare you cannot look
for me anymore
Don’t you dare you can’t catch me.

AUTUMN IS NOW FULL
AND Autumn is now full
it is coloring life.
The skies spread streaks of finding love,
the cool air, embracing, waving hands.
A moment captured is no prisoner
when two hearts share the moment.
The long lookers seeking sights
as numberless souls of time wishing.
And the orchestral and the hearts, as knowing
dream as dreams believe in the dreamer.
And nature provides these invited two
their loving silence.
We two stand up and express gratitude
through a mass of kisses and hugs.
The world is nature and we are too.

NOCTURNES BY MIDNIGHT
AND for every memory whose hands have touched
my hungry lonely moments; I am always here,
between laughter and weeping; singing and
shouting. Just today (which I realize is
everyday in eternity) I walked across a crack
that contained my soul; the sidewalk made of
gold. And while I write feeble words to express
emotions that are unobtainable the other more
whole piece of my heart is sleeping in a distant
land; a place where upon the grace of God
laid a golden egg that born my true peace and
happiness. Her love constructed my world
before she was born and before I knew her
human name. The indescribable has a song
and colors and feelings; the light between
swaying branches of a tree; the smell of a
new word; the touch of tender sight and
undying kisses from a breeze from nature.
Knows.
And we are the children yet to be born.
And some who are grown but dead children.
The unknown.

IF LOVE TOOK ME
IF love took me
take me my love
when breathing is
you breathing with me
and life is at
it’s most loving.
And nighttime:
my hand upon your
breast keeps time
as an arm of the hour
stealing moments
within our dark.
As jaws of Cupid open
my priest of pain
begins to sing:
“Ruby heart, padlocks
and all, deployed by
angels smiling
thunderbolt-lust;
and i, too frail.”
Drowning in wishing-
like sea swells
like if love took me
take me my love
across the night
into the dews, and the
‘give me everything
i wish/give me everything
i love/where life is at
it’s most loving.

THE SINCEREST LIAR
MY mind (because it taught me) loves me
Who minds when lies are sugar coated
Within all my ruin it called me lovely
I never begged for mercy when my face
turned blue
because the most sincerest liar is the
\mind/
+
Laughing with a straight jacket on
for dinner as a bug within my ear
said it all; no one has a choice
but to accept free will so we all
sing along, “oh eh oh eh where’d
I ever go wrong?”

THE LEAST FAVORITE THINGS
That within my hands
are the crumbled lives
of ghosts who have passed
me by
And when like a wounded demon
that begs so perfectly saying
all the lies I wish were true
These are the least favorite things
I find within my life
When the world closes its eyes
and love moves away like a train
from purgatory’s station
When like a sentenced soul
the judge turns away from shame
then my life has been
but a sweet memory
and the most wonderful
pain of all…

JUST ONCE I HAVE A DREAM
JUST once I have a dream but the day flees quickly
And the roses within my hands wilting
Prickly the thorns begin to bleeding; —
And gulfs of space filled with time are speaking;
As One Soul from darkness to light so weakly
Quickly come and rest your tears within my heart
That beats in measure to the parts of slowest moments.
Spilling hope and painting thoughts,
And lovely memories of yet to be’s;
A timely utterance to thought’s relief
My love, the fairest feathers and song
By the beach or the brook o’babbling notes!
And sunlit a lighting stroke across my breast
Leaving me to myself and all I am;
Just alone.
Dreaming a chance just once to be with you
And not within the hand of bleeding rose!

WHEN the ground becomes the wall
Spring to Summer and to Fall
is when the world begins to tilt
destroying all that’s been built
We start to awaken within our sleep
we’re everything to no one while
expecting fear to face retreat
we tilt /
jilted we scream and fall
while the world becomes
our wall |xxx|
