TWO CURIOUS MINDS

1
TWO CURIOUS minds entwined with the mind of God;  Einstein and Bohr.  The debate was difficult and more tipsy from decades of argument their friendship soared

2
Determinism an evil force if to be believed by?  Refutes all claims of an eternal spirit that decides external scapegoats lay blame says those without souls

3
And through the window of a prestigious institute a wildly white-haired man peered across the campus and noted a beautiful garden next door

4
It belonged to those who had lost their mind in ways similar to all those who — like him tried.  The lunatic asylum could be his home if not more

5
Back to the blackboard with weapon in hand, the equation for his madness; unified field theory fleeing all sensible manner it hid as a wolf in his den

6
Not a weak heart so his bold heart worked and labored shredding chalk and sweating drops of intuition variables came and left as Mistresses in his mind

7
The gravity of this situation was to marry such forces his ill-born child, not just his own– cried in his arms papa Einstein fed his baby but would never put it to bed.

THE Swallowtail

And how like the slender breeze
she moves towards the sunlight
Drenching morning sweetness
from upon the limb of a tree;
“…a flitter-swaying like me!”
said the quizzical blue jay.
O! Adore the wilderness jewel
of black, yellow, and spots
of white; the Eastern Black
Swallowtail does surly excite!
The envy of the Kingdom Green
and the jealous sky rejoice
in bridal bliss-kissing life!

YESTERDAY’S THINGS

Through sorrow I followed the flames of rites
And casted aside all things that brought me love.
A broken horse, tin soldier, and mangled kite
Tattered bear and soft dove in white

And in the attic there use to be

A cradle that rocked in gentle breeze
Iron cast cars without their wheels
Paper thin butterflies & snowy trees
And dinner plates I used for meals too

The thing lost and most felt in heart

Was not the engine, tracks or robot man
Or little black plastic white-tipped shoes
But something that once brought me smiles
A mere hand puppet that seemed so real

Now I know with clear understanding

Regardless of the pain I feel from longing
That those gifts of youth were put to use
And have now been given to others belonging
Always the memories I’ll have and never lose

There’s always a fond thought for tomorrows
Especially when you remember yesterday’s things.

PARADISE BY TULIPS

It’s lovely when it’s
loving like-licious
Between two cotton
candy jelly-Bean
butterflies I am kissING
eternally your tulips
by paradise that I am
wishing!
