the bumble bee —
mid-air freeze
and hummingbird,
tacked into the sky
my walk, molasses-like
and air thick, too cool
i’ve stepped between
the seconds of time
into a place outside
of mind
that low moaning
a groaning slowness
of arrested world
a snap of my finger
the world, again flows

time, that illusion
it’s cousin – motion
neither exists
beyond human eyes
— all is static
never changing
just a unified field
expanding
contracting
and universal
consciousness
watching rapid flickers
of death-rebirth

My morning smile
love garden
what dew
upon your fern lips
the soil keeps you warm dear
my fantasy tingles
your stem
it’s a love cloud over blue
a gift humming bird hum
orange sherbet
cream eyes
sapphire blue lips burning
ruby hearts colliding too
I whisper to0
you hold on
and never let go this moment
time is a fire that burns
and life
is a frozen ice
only flames melt us to be
in this moment of bliss
My lovely flower bee
pollinate my dreams
and let me dream forever
a vast field of you

And what say we
tomorrow that sun
a window and beyond
the blue jay sings
inside my bed
my own nest so warm
and there besides
my heart, thee
my hands touch
the promised land
and her dessert lips
burn my soul
together a sun
and glow that shines
so brightly that day
is dim compared
we together
that heavenly nest

Here I was reading Andre Breton
and got up to get a glass of water
upon returning to my room I saw
myself still in bed
the horror upon my face
so I fled —
downstairs to the couch
where I placed my hands upon
my face the mouth still in horror
and then the front door opened
and I saw my face over there
and the horror of our stares
to see my self at the door
and my self saw me on the couch
I sat down with myself
we had much to discuss

I was alone in my mind
walking lonely roads
through my dreams
and nightmares of life
Until I saw you
then again you said
‘this road leads to a dead end’
So I said to myself I’d go
down the darkest path
it has a stench of death
and in my heart I knew
my life’s journey was death
A Black Death holds
no disgrace so I’m told
a restful place for some
I wish away our pain
and in summer days I feel
in the light of truthful pain
and my heart melts away
a sad story of two lovers
That Black Death holds
a truth of love and hate
It eats away the light
a light of love and rein
Black Death smiles
and sings a song
for those who long
for true love and life
Black Death come
take me away
away into darkness
and forever let me —
remember love and light
And the sun and life
Just the ice of your touch
l should be a soulless one
but love I wish you to come

FIRE that burning ICE
axe-plosion burst stream
at first
a whisper dove
elegantly comes to me
DEVIL flames
kiSsing soul
thunderous passion burning
A high sky ceiling tracing
my dove-love angelic rope
Weakened hands
i clasp
the golden reed
of Nile
tossing waters moving
soul-vessel
ancient reed
lonely the soul drifting
between bodies of heaven
and that of hell
and Earth
What Kings see, humans know
what angels adore
the devil
— loves
but my dove
SOARS so high above all
pure light eagle eyes
a hush from Creation
soon — the grand scene!

(c) E.P. ROBLES
Sweltering sweat stain crooked tooth
slush bog humid sticky smell pit
ugly hop-scotch limping feral human
so out of tune yellow bleach bitch
what[?] is ugly too much for you!?!
the lesions of your pretty heart
burst-cyst fakery of humanity
all you see is a monster like me
your illusionary air of love —
leprosy in its finest puss gem
Beyond your illusion of preconception
a heart beats within my breast-beast
one who loves the arts and finery
and a sunset that rises over my soul
the world sees a beast in me but I see
the world for what it be — a greater beast
My club foot partially steady me —
more than what I can say for humanity
I limp in gutters feeding on trash bits
but my heart is brighter than you beasts!
Go! Die in your beauty!
Be gone beautiful monsters…
let alone the prince in disease
that heart that beats one with nature
no tears worth a pinch of horror
no pain more than familial disregard

sushi said salad-tary times
start bleeding tears —
sushi fistcup bloodymaries
re[sweet]treating all her words
so sushi said; but I have a meal
and raw fish never jumps
when I eat it dead and cold

When I think life has passed me by
I look out the window and I see
a rainbow of pain and pleasure
and I feel insecured from pain
But love, that love hugs me tight
and I know every day is a challenge
just like lovers — we struggle
but the night seduces me too
And the day smacks my head upright
so I struggle like most do — yeah
but there are moments when I realize
life is beautiful and so are we
and words cannot ever describe
the challenge of this life
Never let stares or words drown you
my lovely spirit never let them win
You are a dot that splattered
upon the canvass from God’s brush
and what a wonderful creation
abstract lines and deeper meaning
