i walk my life by your pleasures
and cut my dreams in half
the unspoken pain
i smile then the sun comes
i fold my wings inside of lies
where i sit with my screams
it was for all of me and you
i dreamed. all for the blue jay
with broken wings.

we are so weak
some selfish
some of love
oh so we come
i see my life
a little bowl
feed me feed me
a soup of life
oh say oh say
oh say hello
hello? IF a
lifetime means
we’re all entertainers
who is the audience
simulacrum faces
all without expression
white faces some black
by knowing we go along
along a long a long a
wide beach with thin
sands so expressive
i was so little
once so small in life
until the end hello
i mean, what is time
a ‘here we are now’
a moment of temptation
and the fish in throat
says “i’m so dry now”
hell oh hello hell no
we’re so caught by silver
hook, a lifetime of
fishing for meaning
i’m so little so weak
some selfish some love
oh so we come

if (little ‘i’) ever touch
any heart by my prose
if just one: i am the thankful
shadow : being shy and no one
if by my little ‘voice’ i speak
whose words touch a sad soul
let me encourage you
:you are the beautiful One
which i am severely
appreciative to have ever
known

i <no! not me> sang tangerine
tune-summer ending bursting
green fields of your heart
we laughed running through
ivory key-feet swiftly: chasing
life down into her brook of water
toe-tipped dipped prose :: you
are me and i am Y((ou))
writing poetry inked by leaves
we took the tree to task
and she gave her leaf of
color for the book we write
the words of our love

Be quiet my heart
be twice
quiet my soul!
that which prey
searches love
by quiet streets
of life we walk!
Be by gentle life
so quiet
all life and love
comes to gentle
spirits full of sun
so be quiet,
love!
by brilliance
most never know!

WE breathed
yes? Did not you say
“the shore is long but
narrow like life”
my dearest soul
you make me believe
Art is more than Life
and so you took my heart
into those wondrous
moments of our secret
life. i am not that bold
nor so cold to say we
made the universe colorful.
And my gentle soul it’s
been just moments ago
but now my need is stronger
:saying how much i love you
we breathed
yes! The shores are long
and life so short my lover!

A word,
mostly awaited
and you wait,
the word
like a seed
seeing clouds
waiting a drop
the small life
to grow:
the mighty tear
of joy which awakens
stone,
a heart to be opened
below.

That blade which takes
I took that made
what cuts I did
so did I bleed
and took my road
that dust and blood
the path my blade
had cut for me

oil paint color-burst fields
that kite which fluttered
rich royal blue skies

that which flies –
my heart!
a golden filament string
so gently to you I gave
