THE ALMOST UNSPEAKABLE
WHAT LOVE IS
What love is without hope?
and nature nurtures
these two! be it winged
or those that walk upon
two; love is by nature
a thing unmatched!
and i died the small death
watching you; walk
toward my heart. I dreamed
the long dream sleeping
until awoken by a touching
softly fluttering butterfly
like your eyes searching my soul.
and then! what space between
lovers like you! and myself
closed upon the seeking lips
confirmed. Love is here,
where we reside, a house of hope
built upon two hearts as one.

THE FIRST LOVE
I can see across
the ages
and your smile
always seems so fresh!
a moment in time:
we kissed beneath
the apple tree!
you took the bite (of me)
and i cried:
I shouldn’t have
let you
torture me so sweetly,
an entire world pays our sin.
I could never say
‘no’ to you and you;
a withered reed blowing
in time. but I’m an
“unforgiven” as you are my love
but it’s good,
so good enough to see a world
birthed from this love!
Oh come toward me let’s be;
good enough. So good enough
for all of us, oh, i could
never say ‘no’ to you.

DEVOTION
i walk the meadows lovingly
and today chanced upon
a feeling!
and my feet left mortal
ground to fly away!
toward the skies and
love i chased!
was you, oh! always you!
affection mirrored
in that morning dew
allegiance like the hills
and passion, the river
that never remains still!
that love i chased
always devotion,
it be at least like
nature but so more
like you!

i like it when you whisper
and the world in hushed lips
fallingly desires more.
that you sing while speak,
all within my own heart.
i too fall within you
filled within my soul
you and mine within yours.
i like it when you whisper
and the world wishes too!
to know what madly
soaring hearts say when
the sun sleeps and angels
snore; i too fall within you
you are a part of my soul.
i’d like for you to stay forever!
mostly i like it when you whisper
love within my heart side-by-side
at night within our spooned bed
and the moon smiles and falling
stars wish they had one as you
i like it when you whisper to me.

and they –> shallow hearts
so your hunger for sun
and water I diligently give
my soul the star

Your tulips and balloons flying
all across a shining night
like lovers I want to fill
a memory just full of you
My new life of loving
Stars so brightly shinning
and you make a romance
inside of me like a knee-knocked
heart faintly say my name
when I nighty-night
And tell me I’m just a little bird
snuggled inside you, strong nest
Come morning we’re the first
to eat and chirp lips-bursting
I watch the sunrise my fireBird
wing-to-wing swinging dreams
the wood’s citizens know us
we’re what dreams are ever they be
Oh, falling, flying, sleeping, dreaming
I’m longing to linger until your done
dear, I could never stop dreaming
until sunbeams stop beaming
And I make a promise to you

THE PROMISE OF LOVE & PAIN
Between the frost and dreams of my afternoon,
while sitting waiting so patiently for you
I saw the scene arrange itself
as though by your will; a flower here
and the sun there and love within my heart
I grew a stem-lit candle by my fear
the wax bled through my life slowly
and Romeo echoed all the pain my dear
my ceiling caught the dancing flame
and the corner shadows sang Juliet
And the table of dinner by the wine
and the windows opened for the ghosts
sat Rachmaninoff my intimate friend
That I think should be my soulMate
Should be resurrected for this date
And time stood silently by the gate
while mere mortals like God’s heart
defied the laws of human-fate
I chose the soup and crumpets
and watched the world die this night

Soully by falling heartFeet
i held you lunar love,
the constant companion
over me lighting darkness
A whisper across spaceless
timeWalls sweet Light
my Lunar lovely one!
And all clearly now for me
not division of thought
but by love of precision
I see you up there hanging
across the GodHand Cosmos
And though distance stings
Our midnight kisses memories
And though the sun comes again
I still know the gently softness
of your Lunar Light Breasts
I share the love and beauty
of your gracefull presence
and hunger besets my days
while waiting for My Luna!
