IF pears compare
to apples – smile
then fruit is key
the orchid of hearts
And if rivers roar
like stone stores
then water is rock
and time smooth
my ancient heart
Tiny-tender toe
patter-slide me
the ballerina heart
save me soul

i hear the squeaky oil engine of life
a nature-machine of thin-throat
that feathered soul upon a tree
she beat-notes my heart today
eye beads of soul beyond know
there, that branch she grips
a heart of heat and love
sing my angel-tiny-one
a tickle-note nickel throw
upon the silver heart cup
her song kisses my lips
and falls into my heart
The weather was grand
today I see blue
and placed my tiny soul
within her Sparrow nest

Your dolls grin in my summer
melted silver-plastic sins
and I heard a crow caw
all for my belated needs
I never tended to life
and I find myself six feet deep
My pall bearer lover needs
me and my simple sweet soul
All for you I oiled your soul machine
and I am cosmic mechanic heart
I have the skills to fix your devour-mouth
My pall bearer sees crow caw
and I’m still six feet under…
Under your high heel career
and Versace style psychotic need
And who (you) bury my bleeding
I keep your longest kiss under
— neath my broken bone cap knees
and nothing hurts like your mouth

WHAT good is a heart
that lives a lonely life?
I say I saw love one day
through a rain-pelted window
She looked lost in her soul
and he had a sailor’s gaze
across a long ocean of salt
a ship wrecked romance
leviathan devoured their souls
flotsam and jetsam blood
I could never be your sea
I bellow sail winds across bow
and my land is there dear love
across your deep sea death
I love a journey with firm land
my destiny is a beach at a sea
and my toes in the hot sands
not death in deep watery cold
So sail away lovely sweet go

Dear,
not say what feelings
a storm that passes
the butterfly survives
a down pouring —
and that fire what flower!
Like a burning bush
it does not burn!
but soothes my soul
I ate from your plate
and tasted tender soul
and fell into a love…
you are my golden
molten warmth of love
and I am yours for time
that eternal clock
never unwinds

Love — my no one
kissed a distant dream
the brightest sun
within my soul!
I should speak
but my immortal
her soul I die today
that hand I can never
should ever she touch
Still life should come alive
the heart — an artist paints
and her spirit my pallet
I secretly dip into her
a color of all romantic
and love and life too
The immortal canvas
Your dolls grin in my summer
melted silver-plastic sins
and I heard a crow caw
all for my belated needs
I never tended to life
and I find myself six feet deep
My pall bearer lover needs
me and my simple sweet soul
All for you I oiled your soul machine

my wooden staircase creaks
[a heart broken by feet]
and weeks the measure — my neck
what month long that noose stretched!
a hooded man in black
shared a joke — the pun a trapdoor
i fell —
for the line
a broken neck upon
a heart string

I once loved and it was good
and I asked God if He approved
His answer to me was this:
“My goose bumps created
the mountains…”
So I seek love again
but fear God’s pleasure!
