NEVER, as i once said
forever ~ never
and although i said
at no time,
i also spoke;
till death do us part.

Like stretched limbs
of an ancient oak
my arms too are heavy
and my torso twisted
by torrential winds
of mother nature.

My lips: immortality
till the end of time
and my bleeding heart
and soul beg;
not in the least.
