A DRY TONGUE STICK

Got a throat parched by life
a dry tongue stick //
got a road i’m riding on
dusty-eyelid vanish you
like a magic trick
a dry tongue stick
like an entourage of sick
ghosts limping wick
burning baby doom
burning baby boom
a dry tongue stick
i’m so sick —
catch the sun to dry
all inside my fire
it’s a heart: my heart
like a dry-tongue stick
going to make it stick
so cool but incendiary
heart(it’s my heart)
i could stir you like
a bloody mary-eye
it’s got to be a doom-
boom throat parched life
—a dry-tongue stick

LADY VICTIMS OF I-10

i walk three steps        beyond hallucination
and my feet have wings take flight into the air
people telling me “you’re not here…”
say, i’m saying who’re talking too?
i gotta go gotta go
gotta go —            i’m in the air

f l y i n g      three feet above
the ground looks so good not too far if i crash
crash into the darkness and the Muppet-faced people
move their necks “you’re my friend” but i hate
you saying “you’re so scary”
a fevered heart melting
a fevered heart melting
all in Palestine Texas
driving the white line in deep darkness______!
i see the tree line outside headlight sight
and the moss in Pascagoula seeps inside me
a moss heart swampland lover haunts the road
just want to play my tunes making a beeline
to Palestine Texas
but the moon sashay          into my heart tonight
and the brain inside my head          feels so weak
so this noise is about revenge all along
the road of I-10 a n d   i   s c r e a m  inside all me
just before i’m dead i see the finger of
her; she has a white glove full o’moss (uh huh hum)
grab me take me they’ll say “he’s all dead”
but all the lady-victims of I-10 say so
good to see you alive for this moment.
“Come here poor boy, lose identity in
the night” and so we road the highway
of swamp and night some wear white
but the ladies wear red

MY CONNOTATION OF THIS NIGHT

MY connotation of this night
is serendipitously kissing
infinity like god gloats
upon her stunning flesh:
fish by the sea walking
with legs wishing they
had been born in water
–like her breasts hanging
swinging pendulous-ly
attached to my string-heart
lungs (*)(*) but the hinge
of her locket-heart softly
swings open over gaping shores
and all the fish walk
into the ocean leaving behind
their short stubby legs
with hooks dancing out
of the corners of all their
mouths already caught
:beneath our skin we have
barnacles and tiny white
sea-lice we bought at
the walmarts and targets
that pepper our hearts

A RAILWAY STATION

SO much Summer splashed dressed woman wearing
pan-caked Sun clothing; burning me
in red shoes- legs twisted;
the railway of a station
WE(me?) have big words
to0 much so we never spake
Jesters like fluttering
Spring butterflies swaying(
saying(what love might b(m)e))
a romantically painful
moment
I threw-up nectar
and she flew away with
sugar upon her virgin
tongue to love someone
else in this life.
And the beauty of flowers
are for everyone!

A GREAT TASTING CANDY BAR OF LIFE

mirror life refracting light
life-light eating all of me
when i dance it’s with shoes
so light it gives off effervescent
color of my heart so please don’t
deceive me my slice of chocolate
cake! Ahh! Cherries too — vanilla
is on the menu and i dance all
the night ;would you believe me
if three teeth told you
you’re my love boat upon the
largest body of ocean upon another
world where the dead never die
and the living dance like fireflies?
hmm, this candy bar is great i think
i’ll have another bite!
oh klondike is like covered sweetness
in a polar bar of my hot hungry mouth!

BEAUTY OF THE BUTTERFLY

the sun brang tilted-tinted singing
where i chased a precocious winking
flitter-colorBURSTING butterfly(my mouth
is full o’ butteredcup ofYellow(and a bee
or two too!)) and today roared in youth

next door was in horror as i chased
with tinyFoot the bug with large wings
//she screamed and clawed the walls of
shame as brutes deflowered the queen
who once ruled me//

the tiny brook is where it landed
upon a boastful rock where eddies
and tendril-like swirling water
surrounds her castled heart

and the horror away always away
where mother was raped and i
chose to chase the butterfly today
horror beneath a sun is brighter
than anything.

AT DUSK JUST WHEN THE LIGHT

at Dusk just when
the Light is filled with
indescribable Nothings
i weep feeling how it
hurts me when dark
opens it’s ancient Mouth
it reminds me of a Love
(or two) where sorry was
a misused word while my
heart was tied up in chains!
So sorry! Tilled the fields
for one never produced a thing
the other an explosive MORE
opportunity like chances
sweet baby kisses like cotton
candy sticky lips leaves my
heart wishing so much more
like how a string of blue jays
sang when i left my house to
go to work today–SING!
yeah!yeah!yeah!
and dusk just when like the light
is filled with indescribable
nothings //

SO DARK AND DEAD

so dark and dead
so dark and dead
so dark and dead

hate me for me
hate me rate me
rape me again

like me lick me
tell me again
i’m your friend

save me save me
save me once again
like i’m your friend

oh here we go again
i’m not like anyone
you loved before
yea, i’m the only one
yea i’m the only one
with wormS eyes
writhe amor(‘Through through
our hearts hugely squirm
roots)us
ly;through
so love me but hate me
kiss my head again
like a sex pope with
vaginally respected hope
so dark and dead ~
and the stars melt across
all words ever written
the sun a yoke in the center
of humanity’s joke!

OH LORD COME

IN a daze so confused i know
how the ones are so surprised.
So disposed by time and something
like life with little mouths.
i walk in a worn soul without shoes
upon the boulevard of boiling hate
and greet all the screaming faces
who hold sinking balloons and
giraffes with hunchback necks
and a little child with bruises
across his face –it’s disgrace
how he screams and no one hears
the belt across his deformed smile
and the alley way is a mine
of gold where the youth and old go
to seek shelter from a burning sun
and darkened souls who roam the night.
Oh Lord come today and wash away
the pain
Oh Lord come today and burn away
all the pain
oH! upon a wish a rapture should surprise
my soul upon this street the houses
immensely scream: ‘i wish to be in
the heavens waiting to be formed,
and love is more than knowing how
words are more than feelings
as a heart curved-shape slurping
the world.’

UNDER THE TREE OF LIFE

UNDER a tree of life
reading a book about death
i took off my shoes
and drank in the light
oh how the skies are blue
so is my half-buried soul
i’m just a lost soul
and do the angels cry
as they surround me
as i wait for you death
like a stone thrown
into the river of life
i skip across the surface
onto another shore
where the poets and artists
perish i can see their bones
ribs like pencils
a half skull like a cymbal
oh just a lost soul
but everyday my soul says
‘hey, you’re ruled by ruse
so take a flower with you
to the other side;  they
need to see nature in all
it’s beauty where the sky
is all bruised
oh under this tree of life
i ache to be where i’m ruled
but love like this rock in my hand
is a heart turned to stone
so flat it skips across the water
onto another shore where poets
and artists perish so i’ll wait
for you here to turn this stone
into one of love again
