Eros Do Not Flee From Me (Final)

My adventure began on this chilling night,
As homes lowered shades, extinguishing light.
While sullen souls lay down to sleep and dream,
Common sense whispered, “Follow, don’t esteem.”
But my heart stood firm, undeterred by fright!

Conviction, that solid and shiny guide,
Melted pale and fearsome, colors denied.
My plan was simple, in the dark I’d tread,
To find EROS’ house, where hearts are fed,
And cure my heart’s ailment, its blight implied.

After Chaos, Gaia, and Tartarus’ reign,
EROS, the God of Love, was then ordained.
He would show the path to enduring love,
To be my rightful bride, below, above.
Restless, I fled to the frozen hills, pain.

As a mortal, I sped with golden wings,
Like EROS, beating tempestuous strings.
A burden heavy, knowing fate’s decree,
My beast through mist and soaring heights carried me,
Across wastelands and icy bog’s stings.

Sad waters sang their melancholic rhyme,
“CHAOS…” echoed, marking my journey’s prime.
Humanity seemed newborn in my sight,
Through woods and hills, surging forth in my might.
Pity EROS, his bride born of dark grime.

A chasm nameless, yet a burning flame,
Illuminated by Luna’s solemn aim.
The dance of light upon the night’s embrace,
Stirred feelings deep within my soul’s dark space.
Soothing my beast, fear’s burden I declaim.

Into the gaping chasm’s twisted soil,
I faced my fate, stepping with care and toil.
Each footstep soaked within my trembling soul,
Fear’s grip upon my throat, fierce and whole.
Like EROS, love consumed, fear would foil.

My fevered mind, a raging river’s flow,
Slowly seeped into the porous night’s woe.
A creature ravenous, hungry for more,
Blood and bite, I sought on this fateful shore.
Decision awaited at that ancient door.

With a hand, cold and gray, I knocked, confessed,
My longing seconds felt like hours, oppressed.
The sane might judge the foolishness I showed,
But love’s need surpasses all folly, bestowed.
To those with empty lives, love manifests.

This night, my plan held naught but a desire,
To find EROS’ house, the god I admire.
After Chaos, Gaia, and Tartarus’ birth,
I sought my ambition, for love’s true worth.
Feeble fear fled, consumed by passion’s fire.

Into the frozen hills, I swiftly fled,
A mortal like EROS, where tempests tread.
With golden wings, I beat upon the night,
Knowing my fate, senses jarred by its might.
Through cold waters, sad and gray, I sped.

My eyes, veiled slightly by a cloth’s embrace,
Luna’s light burned, revealing truth and grace.
Humanity, awakened by this sight,
As EROS mated with DARK CHAOS, bright.
Their wings entwined, birthing the human race.

Amidst smoke and mire, Apophis did sit,
The thief who stole love, causing endless grit.
He took away the love meant for my soul,
Leaving emptiness, a gaping hole.
EROS, please heed, your aid I desperately solicit!

As the winds of time howled through ancient stone,
I stood at the threshold, weary and alone.
A voice emerged, deep as the world’s own core,
“EROS shall grant you what you most implore.”
My trembling heart swelled, no longer unknown.

With burning wings, EROS appeared in flight,
His eyes like stars piercing the endless night.
He spoke not of passion, nor fleeting embrace,
But of love’s true form—beyond time and space.
“The path you seek,” he said, “is born of light.”

Through Chaos, through Darkness, love stands supreme,
Not bound by whims or the fragile dream.
It carves through the void, through sorrow and strife,
Binding lost souls, shaping the world to life.
In its embrace, you become what you seem.”

Then from my chest, my heart began to blaze,
No longer seeking, trapped in longing’s haze.
The skies split open, revealing the dawn,
And in love’s full grasp, I was reborn.
Fear dissolved into time’s eternal gaze.

EROS turned to leave, his wings full of fire,
But before he vanished, spoke of my desire:
“Seek not my house, for you need only see—
That love is not found—it lives within thee.”
And with that truth, I soared ever higher.

O’MORNING

O morning, freshly unfurled, like the dawn of creation,
Bursting with light, as the first moment of being!

The blackbird lifts its voice, primal, triumphant,
A song born from the soil, from the earth’s deep belly.

Sing praises! Sing to the light that climbs from the east,
To the day that emerges, innocent, from the bosom of the world!

Sweet the rains that fall, caressing, tender—
Each drop, a baptism for the earth’s green skin,
Each blade of grass kissed by Heaven’s breath,
The dew a glittering gift, on the fresh face of life.
Praise! Praise the sweetness of the garden,
Sprung up whole, where feet of wonder once trod,
Where the Eternal walks still, in quiet reverence.

Mine is the light, mine the glow of the morning!
I, too, am born with the day, sibling to the sun,
Witness to the glory that Eden knew in its first bloom,
Praise! Praise every breath, every heartbeat, every moment,
For in them, the new day unfolds, God’s hand shaping the world anew!

O morning, breaking as once it broke—
The blackbird sings, unchained, unafraid!
Praise for the song, praise for the dawn!

Praise for the world, springing up, forever fresh, forever young!
God’s Creation for the new day.

By Love’s Design

Joy — Thou Spark of Heav’n’s delight
Born of some Eternal Place
We, alight — with fevered Heart

Seek Thy Everlasting Grace!
Thy Hand doth mend where we divide
The fractured souls — by custom spurned
And Men — like Brothers side by side
Beneath Thy Wings have returned.

He who dares the noble quest
To bind a Friend within his care
Or finds the Heart of Woman blest
Let him in thy Rapture share!
And though one Heart may claim but One
He joins — the grand Jubilant Line
Yet those who’ve wandered all alone
Shall mourn outside Love’s Design.

Creation drinks from Joy’s pure breast!
And good and ill upon her trail
All kiss the Vine by Heaven blessed
For Friend and Love shall never fail.

The worm within his quiet hole
Finds Bliss beneath the clod
And even Angels fold their wings
In Joy — before their God!

Gladly like the Suns that sweep
Through Heav’n’s vast and noble Plan
March, my Brethren, hand in hand
In Joy — like Heroes — stand!

dEVASTATION Blues

Oh, devastation, you’re a wrecking sight,
Tear me down, I’m high all night.
With your crooked smile, got me in a trance,
You drag me deeper in this twisted dance.

Your eyes, like scars, they burn so bright,
Reflecting my pain, and it feels so right.
Time’s a blur when you’re around,
Everything’s spinning, I’m lost, I’m bound.

Yeah, love, sweet love, how it kills me slow,
Like fire and rain, I just let it grow.

Devastating love, it’s what I crave,
A love that drags me right to my grave.
So burn me down, darling, with all that you are,
And we’ll crash together, never too far.

As I LaY MYSeLF TO SLeeP I PRAY THE LORD MYSeLF TO KeeP

AS I LAY MYSELF TO SLEEP
I PRAY THE LORD MYSELF TO KEEP

go to sleep little one
go to hell where there’s no prayers
go to heaven where no one hears you

Exit –> life
ENTER –> eternity
(we walk alone)

I TUCKED YOU INTO SOFT ETERNAL SLEEP

be in the never-never land
be in a dream so deep
be – come a shadow of yourself
(i walk alone)

ESCAPE –> self
ENTER –> recycle

One eye open
One eye closed
One night fades, forgotten, decomposed
(my shadow my only friend)

go to sleep little one
go to the place where time dissolves
go to the silence where all resolves

EXIT –> fear
ENTER –> forever
(love always beside me)

THE EDGE OF INFINITY

WHEN i took my Soul
into the ocean
i left insanity ashore

low winds when i took
the watch — gentle breathing
filled my empty sails

and i know one thing:

it’s where i want be

I closed my eyes
for a jab sailor
filled my lungs to sing

The ship moved off shore
pointing true north
Awake at last lover

and i rest inside myself
with no super answers

Water moving with rudder
and within my ears
it sounded so strange

Who deserves love
an ocean breathing
smelling like love

mistral wind

I always moved with winds
and carried dreams
to the deepest oceans

as if the sky should tear
and show a deeper blue
and that a futher stretch
but a supposing too
of worlds beyond the veil

Untouched by stars or air
themselves the edge of space
unseen — infinity is there.

Time and Love Remains A Romantic Reflection

If I love, what am I, but shadow and flame,
A mirror that flickers, that calls my name?
Does love remake me, or unveil what’s been,
The light that’s hidden, or the darkness within?

In the soil, I kneel, where thorns entwine,
The earth beneath me, both cruel and divine.
I crawl through the dirt, stained by the fight,
Yet still I rise toward love’s steady light.

What is real, must I remember it all—
The good, the evil, the rise, and the fall?
To uncover truth is to bear its weight,
The joy and the sorrow that time won’t abate.

The hands that I’ve helped, the wounds I have known,
The shadows of others have marked my own.
For every soul that gave, and each that took,
I am both victim and thief in this book.

Pulling at thorns, the pain won’t release,
Love persists, though suffering won’t cease.
Perhaps I am someone else—someone changed,
Yet you, like the sky, remain unrestrained.

In the light and shadows of those I recall,
I gave them everything, but lost it all.
And still, I seek redemption, not in the past,
But in the love that endures, that might last.

So, I’ll love all, in spite of the pain,
For in love’s embrace, I’ll find myself again.
Through the struggle, the shadows, the wounds, the fall,
I’ll rise, like the dawn, and love will remain through all.

HIGH-WIRE ARTIST

The heartbeat’s too faint—
I tried to skip
down the boardwalk path,

the corner of my carnival eye glossed,
where pinks and reds
bled into blue,
and a thin blade of sadness
sliced through the ocean waves

I saw you drowning
in your carnival suit of cheap life.
Did you hear me call?
I shouted, “One more smile for life!”
But the pudding seas swallowed you whole

Now I walk the high-wire,
this tightrope called falling life,
teetering between the sky
and the abyss below

I felt the wind breathe
its quiet warning,
as the rope trembled beneath my feet,
each step a gamble
against the pull of gravity—
yet the crowd cheers for the fall

The sky grows dim;
night becomes my silent audience.
With each sway, I wonder—
is it courage that keeps me walking,
or the fear of what waits
below the safety net?

THE PHANTOM STRINGS

I’ve none to tether me to Earth,
No thread of pain, no weight of birth,
Once bound by threads, but now unspun—
I dance within the shadowed sun.

Hi-ho, the grave doth sing,
A solemn hymn, a somber ring,
The world shall know my spectral glee,
For naught can ever burden me.

No strings—so free, I drift alone,
No lover’s grasp, no heart of stone.
They writhe with chains that bind the soul,
But I am ghostly, dark, and whole.

Your arms, they yearn—but free they be,
To touch me near the hollowed sea.
Ah, yes, should you pursue my shade,
I’d snap my bonds in twilight’s blade.

No strings to break, yet still I’d sever,
My fate entwined with Death—forever.
Between us whispers fade to dust—
For you, I’d cut the ropes of trust.

Upon the Volga’s winding sweep,
Where shadows coil and secrets creep,
I’ve met with Ivan’s mournful cry—
But to your side, I’d rather die.

No strings remain, I drift unseen,
A soul unmoored, a wraith serene.

“I’ve got no strings to hold me down
To make me fret, or make me frown
I had strings, but now I’m free
There are no strings on me…”

The Imperial Robe

I see the Night – lit up by Day
Some name it Life – I say – Okay
The World – she wears a starry Cloak
Upon her Collar – Time’s soft yoke

A Seamstress – stitched with subtle Thread
Where Life – and Death – together tread
And in her Garb – from Waist to Knee
Lies all we are – and all shall be

Between the Land – and Ocean wide
Between the Dream – where Shadows bide
Between the Life – and Death’s deep Breath
We dwell – within the Robe of Death!
