ABSTRACT LINES

When I think life has passed me by
I look out the window and I see
a rainbow of pain and pleasure
and I feel insecured from pain

But love, that love hugs me tight
and I know every day is a challenge
just like lovers — we struggle
but the night seduces me too

And the day smacks my head upright
so I struggle like most do — yeah
but there are moments when I realize
life is beautiful and so are we
and words cannot ever describe
the challenge of this life

Never let stares or words drown you
my lovely spirit never let them win
You are a dot that splattered
upon the canvass from God’s brush
and what a wonderful creation
abstract lines and deeper meaning
