IF the gods of time and space relent and if there’s any kind
of justice under this sun and if all the great questions
have no answers then what becomes of humanity?
And if the love of lovers are mirages brought by heat

IF i am separated from your love

i wonder: life, that i do drink
from soul’s fountain-dreams

And when i’m at work i want to work
so hard but walk so far between
alone and hearts
sweet so sweet i see the last breath
is colleagues and i can smell formaldehyde
on their breath it makes me wish i could
crawl inside their casket and find solace
the dead always smile when their flesh
fades away and i like lollipops cause
living souls can lick and the dead don’t
have tongues

and dream of father’s in deserts
and mother’s in oceans
i dream so far i hooked Leviathan

i dream i had a secret promise
only (what torture says) is me:

and who knows : if i measure

i was there when you took your first breath
just a bundle of love and the mountains moved
and i forgot how hot the sun burned
i saw you take your first step and even
your dance anytime music played — we
held hands like soul-mates and now you are
the sun and i’m the jealous sky; my sweet
dearest daughter i’m missing you so
So she took her love and went forward into
the skies and felt an arm in her heart
one who says, “if you forget the sun within
it’s jealous skies, i’m here always for you”
And she felt as her hair came down: i am your

tip the bathroom attendant

the skinny neck

last month’s rent crawling up the
stairs yesterday’s lover decaying

so existence has a toll

WET sheets (of sweat) ~ i’m feeling
generally believing my own mortality

a loss of tension in muscles and WHEN
i felt so much hung upon the footsteps
of life and no more and don’t
you cry when i’m gone
with the skin i’ve shed
rigor mortis is a last feeling in fingers
and toes so you got time to find
it: to find it! AND where is tomorrow?
Did you run away with the feeling of love?
And whose mask do you wear? And i got
time for just tomorrow for you to find it
And when my muscles loosen –~ times gone
and i’ve gone upward toward beyond tomorrow
and i lov eyou and i had time for tomorrow
