MY WALK
OH! The walk I have walked!
my feet have laughed and wept
through waters of discontent
and over horror through bliss
What path I go now not known
but surely nothing new to me
So walk I do but not alone

A HEAVEN
Should I skip a tulip upon
the face of death so elegantly
the horror or pleasure being
release of state or satisfaction
that tethers are cut to flow
above the skies of blue release
Human flesh I sing-weep for you
the perfection incased in beauty
Lower lips cascading tear-love
most souls sweep into the sea
but your love floats a heaven

TONIGHT I KISSED PHOENIX
Golden girl starlight heart
shooting fire across life
burning embers lit my heart
I am consumed by your fire
a loving flame reborn me
the Phoenix I kissed this night
and we both stand ready now
to return those fiery embers
upon my knee I await thee
hush, no need to hurry now
I adore the fire within my hands

That slipper from a night

mystery woman of night

Oh Leviathan of deep oceans my soul!
no eye sees what waters move you
and cold deep comfort that warm heart
seafarers banish harpoon made of slate
and human hearts frail of tissue-skin
what chases whom across vastness say
ghosts, dreams, shadows, malaise
go my dear beast, deep, far, and wide
lest hemocyanin colour that grand heart

Oh my Father did not you hear me!
that day I was born a harbinger
for the words I spoke were a cry
and emotions, high as love, joy,
fear, and pain visited that night
this day again, those friends of my
first-day arrive —
Oh, cry I do!
but more a machine-drive
for all my tears have dried
and so my love and joy
but fear and pain —
never relinquish their place

PAINFUL REFRAINS
What tragedy could encase my pain
such travesty when love saves
immensely my wrong-dos today
the delicate pain of love say
a burden greater than a soul
my blue bleeds across the skies
and my heart fades in yellows
beneath the horizon’s sun scream
butterfly tickle me-soul now
perchance a drop of love from
dangling eternity-skies
passion-lip hush-kiss now

THE WHOlE DAY THROuGH
Truth be told I could not sleep
before I said a word or two
about young and old that toll
in a cold world without a blanket
or a morsel of food for the belly
I walk down the street and see
a sea of humanity between paradise
ones that have a car the other dying
human look at my life I’m a lot like you
a paycheck away from disaster
but I have food and a blanket too
so Jesus come today and spread love
give us that mana from your basket
and do a trick or two before we all die
we need someone to love us
to love us the whole day through

PASSION POETRY
LOVER I had the perfect
love poem within my heart
but the moment I began to write
I suffered a complete breakdown
and my hand shook in deepest passion
it was that fire within that burned
and my writing paper consumed
and pencil took flame like a candle
but the words I have upon my lips
and I shall give them to you tonight
one syllable at a time between kisses
