I walked the sunlit path
and we exchanged vows
and my life was yours
and my heart too
and my breath one with you
how could you have walked
away from me many years ago
I was your only one
who you really knew
and i shed tears for years
so take a look at me now
empty spaces against the dark
but i crawled above my grave
i am not a dead man woman
but resurrected in grace
and God loves the soul
who believes in vows
and i live for one
who wasn’t you
and she is
here with
me now

THE ant has as much say-sothough burrowing dirt and sand
and butterfly knows so – flies
one above the other below
So humans who work a till
unknowing they build
a castle unknown in dirt
and so above air
one is not greater
the other knows
air and dream
sleeps a cover
of warmth
love

stone monolith cry
shaped like humans
they wept boulders
and Earth below
shakes tremor love
oh, think twice
what paradise lost
it’s another day
and we all cry
I am a loser girl
and you are lonely
and we cry same tears
think twice today
we are humans living
in a stone paradise
glass towers empty
and fake smiles too
what heat love heart
a clover in fields
maybe we shed cover
and clovers beloved
and you call out
to the crying clown
he gives you balloon
and that smile drawn
is it you or a dream
Do we cry for paradise
or a chance to love
and what can we say
lipstick magic smile
for a day in paradise
what can we sing girl
just another day
in our dreams or chance
I choose to believe
I believe in love
and life and dreams
and fantasy beyond
what flesh-blood
believes in paradise
just a man in a street
and the cold makes
me believe in warm love

Ah, those wing-tip shoes
a hipster attitude to boot
an unreliable man-animal too
I walk the footsteps you choose
dinosaurs walked them too
but a real man — fragile yes
I am unreliable but undeniable
I am a whisper upon your heart
a feather-tickle on your soul
take-me-break-me-make-me baby
I am here for you and only you
and the mighty dinosaurs
will finally rest this day

TIME only abides those souls
who try to keep hell below
baby footsteps walk above
and clouds float and taste
a lick of love and passion
no hell or war to imagine
and society will follow
waiting for a voice we say
but our spirits sing today
ocean shells speak the name
it’s easy to hear just try
not a human word but more

My heart aches — fossil time
a secret kept close —
beneath breastbone
no macabre dear
easy one this day
but a fact parlayed
in truth today
i am crushed
in realization now
that not one but two women dead
who passed a long ago — past time
that my heart finds deep love
who wishes to know i ask!?
and for what reason compels you

nothing dear lover
we give and thou take
a summer breeze and leaf
that oak tree does know
solid and unmoving
seasons tease its leaf
thou eye is steadfast
i walked that path
honey sickle taste
bitter heart nonsense
and lemon smiles sun
my bird sings song
and hast cage iron
what will break wrought
my vortex of life dwell
between and beyond all
