And today I commit my sanity
to a cage of padded walls
inside a bone cave
— a bone bomb
so quietly exploding;
the sparks leave me
through spirit and eyes!
I was a normal creature
until pushed aside
by the wave of humanity
the untold tons of flesh
across my soul!
and now I carve words
from feelings I lost
years ago!

if my skull

a beating heart
instead of brain

WE walk upon the lemon slice
like-Earth spinning dish
a garnish upon our plate
a heart full of pie
and i love your face
it makes mascara smear
when i taste your heart

of caught tears!
i crushed you there
in my fist,
and on top of day
i forgot your name

i should run away
to never see myself
what ruin i’ve become
my ungrateful heart
may slay away
all the lightness
where destruction lives

there are times
when the sun sinks
with it too my hope
all because of a heart
then the moon surprises
with all her grandeur
like an unblemished stone
but not my ungrateful heart
it lies between a vastness
the tiniest cracks
between light and darkness
is where i live forever

It’s been 14 dreary days since you
took my heart away (thundercloud
dripping sadness, clapping applause)
I saw my face in a shattered mirror
the broken glass Picasso’d me
so I ate a purple-painted brush
threw up on my canvas of life
You — like me, I like you, you not so
simply adviced by Cupid’s broken arrow
So I walk the garden and snappy leaf
of my favorite Venus lie-traps
licked my wounds and bumble B
stinging my dripping painted heart
I couldn’t have met my fate with you
without my garden of shyness and love
so I gave you a clapping hand upon
these past fourteen heavenly days
Forever, forever, forever!
Even though I forgot the contour
of your Mona Lisa lying face
and somebody else already used
the word of a chained heart in hell
but I wish I had more time

Sweltering sweat stain crooked tooth
slush bog humid sticky smell pit
ugly hop-scotch limping feral human
so out of tune yellow bleach bitch
what[?] is ugly too much for you!?!
the lesions of your pretty heart
burst-cyst fakery of humanity
all you see is a monster like me
your illusionary air of love —
leprosy in its finest puss gem
Beyond your illusion of preconception
a heart beats within my breast-beast
one who loves the arts and finery
and a sunset that rises over my soul
the world sees a beast in me but I see
the world for what it be — a greater beast
My club foot partially steady me —
more than what I can say for humanity
I limp in gutters feeding on trash bits
but my heart is brighter than you beasts!
Go! Die in your beauty!
Be gone beautiful monsters…
let alone the prince in disease
that heart that beats one with nature
no tears worth a pinch of horror
no pain more than familial disregard

and swore to God above
she would be the one
I would die in old age
loving and cherishing
and this I swore before
mankind and heaven
even the angels of glory
that she walked away
was not my bidding
so here I stand
firmly in faith
that my word is strong
and shall never sway
that she walked away
does not mean
I did the same
so I remain
empty handed
but still in love

morning sunrise against you
I more than once, thought
your voice a violin
sweeps me off my feet
a saintly hymn

and quiver at the knee
