SUCH pain! I cannot refrain
from the deepest regret
My need to greet your words
wishing freshingly painted
upon your notes scribbled
But fate or other monster
bestowed this trick
that my heart would fall
for one who long ago
passed beyond the flesh

snapped into piece
I sadly held onto
my broken soul…
My angel spoke
and said it so…
what is broken
becomes the steel

MY strength derived
not by conviction
but by those who love me
My courage not within
but received by my love
for others…

THAT which dwells
so deep within
not placed there
by God or birth
but through the pain
still unresolved

LISTEN to not my words
but the thrumming beat
within my chest
it speaks to you
and in between
those solid beats
an eternity I wait
just to kiss you

I BECOME unhinged
this powerful emotion
a potion of boiling life
within me is all
singing a chorus
— of release!

A SLIVER of early
golden light
slipped through
my frosted window
and there before me
— lay a constellation!
Untold worlds and stars
floating above my floor!
Surely nothing more
than dust — swirling motes
But my eyes and heart
chose one so white and blue
delicate and soft with spirit
— this one called Earth

for lost prose
before I sleep
Torrential force
a lover beyond hunger
My effort – less
Lost treasures yes
inspiration comes
— sheets of adoration
For life and love
besets my knowing
— human am I

what be it may
stately said…
I do adore
hedonistic lore
And my passion
borders beyond
— the day of light
into a fray
some may fright
But at the end
of any day…
a brilliant sun
and nymph of light
rules out all
— it is my sweet
love for life
