MEMORIES are caught upon butterflies
& how gentle she flies above the stars
how wondrous my choices
have become: some landing
while others crashing
and how she goes away up into the skies
of all my yesterdays
how she came then went
i said inside my heart:
‘how easy it was to play
while time passes away’

before I was a boundary of Life
i was an embryo so you can completely
kill me when you want like the body
upon which you learned to write
(aside from ancient angels) people
hidden or appear illuminated
by forests of appearance —
immediate lights?
a dream appeared at will.
So senseless — a perfect example
of words! aaaaaaaaahhhhh!
The media fears to feed him —
smells like sperm of secrets —
the sea stops within the palms
of your eyes —– aaaaaaaaaah!
breath. Please. To laugh.
Believe. aaaaagh. with hospitality
they blindfold your look.

IT’S so much — the little THINGS
entered my SOUL & MOUTH so far
AWAY from denial
then, as now, i KNEW you were
SUMMER within WINTER where-ever
time and space folds ; collapses
and tearing at the brain.
is LOVE so beautiful is
the world — revolution time
who is sleeping at the wheel?
We keep track and tack notes
trying to reach out to YOU
— the world of sleeping
beautiful souls. Beautiful

A butterfly sang
wingingly above
the lake of tonight
singing “so love the
firefly” and dipped
a tip of wing into
the heart of you
And the stadium of
ripples applause
all love and life
— too /the dark
stormy clouds of
all your thoughts\
You don’t love me
:plainly seen within
the space of your
eyes; unlike these
stars tonight
And if I can I should
forget you and still
love how the butterfly
sang: “You love me
my dear, so plain
and I keep a taste
of nectar just for
your heart my love”

AND when I walked
the path toward the light
and you said that I could not see
what you meant was nothing darkness
and in the light I knew your heart
it was made of clay and dirt
and in this dirt you woke me up
and I saw the light within you
and we made the world into this rock
and so we reap now what we sow
Who will see the light within this darkness
who will make some sense of this?
I can only hope for light and love
and love is what we need this day
You will see light in the darkness
you will make some sense of this
and in the morning when you awaken
there will be a butterfly for you
Who will see the light within the dark
can you take this staff of light
and make it yours to remake this world?
I give you the dream of living life
