What strange place this time rests
in between the frames of a movie,
the dusk-dawn edge we bleed
trying so hard we do for impossibility;
to walk down the middle of a sidewalk
or catching hope within a bottle of despair.
I know where I dwell and it’s large enough for you
if you seek relief from the twilight of a passing
epoch. There, where I live is nothing but the
promise of impossibility realized
Come my friend, let us go!

within the soil
of my dreams
and dream I do
of golden light
to fall upon
the seed to grow
within the morrow
upon my wake
the wish-to-dream
becomes the truth
for all to know

a pittance for memories
of a grand life remain
To see the mysteries
that such power gives
more than enough for tears
What love held never lost
but tucked away somewhere
between moon and stars

Mist a way beyond the line
where my path follows you
Oh wish I may for a life
that fond I dream of you
and days of us below the blue
with stars upon your shoulder
and words you softly whisper
send echoes through my world

truth shall never be alone
but comfort it has eternally
a partner that stays forever
this rose by name is Love

IF all the world’s a stage
and we are all the actors
who then the audience?
we all perform
for the mystery of mysteries!
I saw it and there it lay beneath a shroud of commonplace as people dead-walk a tip-toe between light and dark. That beastly ghastly parasite spewing spittle into the eyes and nostrils of decent people infecting spirit and even soul, compelling beauty and love to do the dastardly deeds it needs to live and instill unhatched fear-eggs beneath the skin of humanity. Yes, I saw it, fear itself and it is staring me straight in the eye.

LIFE bitterly love bit me
a kiss that burned my heart
such love that sank its teeth
o’er my spirit it tore apart
the dreams that dream of love
in pepper-tears laced in salt
that born I be my only fault
life bitterly love-love me

I ate the sun today
in all it’s glory fire
now inside of me
A quarrel ensued
between the two
light and darkness
ancient bitter foes
A deal was struck
a war not waged
if I choose to be
keeper of the two
