AN ENORMOUS WINDOW MOURNING

FULL of passion and giggles
so now she’s sad
i frown for you
and when i’m with you
i don’t want to be
with you
an enormous window mourning
sunsets too
like the child within me
she’s within you
too alone in the dusk
with you// the wind plays
Rachmaninoff and your hair
ties a knot within my heart
good heart a desire to please
and my head in a deep freeze
and (if) you(r) face ; my skies,
tomorrows are deeply blue
with a burning sun within all
my soul and fatal eyes
it’s only like when
i’m with you
never want to be with you
could never leave you
