IT started with words
i got so high on you
when i know it’s dangerous
and your mouth says
‘love me better than
i love me’
you threw off your shoes
ran through the dancing
fields of gold singing
‘what is life if i love
myself better than you’
it’s when i learned what
a man i am so what should
i do — i’m running to you!
her heart died everynight
waiting for a white horse
with an injured knight
sometimes i think i’ve heard
this before inside a trick
of the mind and i don’t care
cause it started with words
i know what i’m trying to say
it’s an easy top spinning
never going to stop and so
special cause when i’m done
i love you and love myself
better than you

TOASTER oven sandwich grin
on the family corner market
keeping all the secrets
within your baby warehouse
teach your kids about love
take 30 percent off their
soul and i like your mouth
come on in; let life fill
your pie hole-soul
don’t go bacon my heart
I couldn’t if I fried!
and you can’t drink all day
if you don’t start in the morning!
